“Hey Thanks for that!
I think you know what I meant
but sometimes my tongue
gets in the way of my brain!”
I had to laugh at your remark
Because I too don't leave my tongue to fester in the dark
It often is out saying things it ought not say
Causing terrible damage along the way
For such a small thing
It can sure do a lot of harm
It never ceases to amaze me
How much oil is needed to restore calm
I open my mouth
And words just fall out
I never really know what I'm gonna say
Until people start to yell and shout
There is of course the odd time
When I say summat okay
But mostly I'm running away
From the trouble my tongue caused today
As one Aries to another
I sure know what you are on about
My tongue too
Should often be cut out
A dear friend of mine once said to me
Think dear before you open your mouth so free
But the brain shuts down
The tongue speaks, and I see people's frown
So forgive me if I howl with laughing
Because I know exactly what you mean
There's no stopping the Aries tongue from wagging
Which is generally ok, except when people scream!
This was written for Ian, a really special guy I had the pleasure of meeting recently!
I've Niknamed him "Photoguy"
