My love…my hope…my sadness
describes me oh so well
from birth… through child, till adulthood
this story my life…will tell
for love was mine in abundance
I could have loved the whole wide world
but jealousy… fear and misunderstanding
just left me feeling so cold
hope was always my companion
no matter how deep the valley below
then one day I awoke so lonely
and hope had left me… you know
then sadness became my life partner
having loved and lost so much
and now I wait for another
to return my hope in love…?
