It is a little past four in the morning

It is a little past four
in the morning
And I woke up
to the beautiful sounds of rain
I looked out my window
and I could see my trees
swaying in the wind
It was so beautiful
Especially when the lightening
would strike and light up the sky
Because I could swear that
when it did my trees
looked like they were actually dancing
And it is a shame that I cant wake up
to the sounds of rain every morning
Because it is calming
and so peaceful and rewarding
