It's a little bit past two in the morning
And I was in bed tossing and turning
trying to work things out in my mind
Because I couldn't stop
thinking about everything
But through all of the silence
something happened
And I could hear the sounds of rain
And because of every emotion
and every feeling that was going
through my mind I started crying
Because of all the hurt and the pain
that I have been dealing with
ever since you've been gone
I just hope that things can change soon
So that I can start feeling like myself again
