My heart's been wounded
and I am partially broken
Because I underestimated
These deep heart felt feelings
That I still have for you
And I thought that it was
important for you to know
Out of everyone
that I have ever known
in this lifetime of mine
That I never allowed
myself to get
this close to anyone
And ever since we separated
I have literally changed
into a different person
And I have never been the same
since you've been gone
And I probably never will be
the same again
