I'm barely holding on

I'm barely holding on
And I am trying to be strong
But I am hurting
And I am dealing with
all these emotions and
feelings on my own
Without anyone
else around
that can help me
get through
the emotional pain
Yet I keep hoping
and I keep praying
That there will
be a reason
For me to continue
holding on
Because if
there isn't one
My life will
never be the same
