Belonging to Christ
I have planted the trees,
Watered by rain swept breeze;
Even though I did sow,
God is who makes it grow.
Though having the same goal,
Of saving a lost soul;
Only God makes it grow,
Just like making streams flow.
I still get a reward,
For my work from the Lord;
I cultivate the field,
For producing the yield.
I build His foundation,
To house the salvation;
A builder that is skilled,
With all that He has willed.
God supplies building blocks,
That are keys which unlocks;
The wisdom that will bless,
In getting righteousness.
For I belong to Christ,
Whom I have sacrificed;
In all things to serve God,
That I honor and laud.
