  A road called memory lane

A road called memory lane

Written by, Dean Masciarelli

Musical composition by, Beatles - my life

August 23, 2009 (6:34pm)

The other day I went by the home
that I grew up in with Dad and Mom

And after all the years that had gone by

Many things had really changed

And other things remained the same

Like the name that was on the street sign

Yet the street itself seemed so much smaller
then it was back in those days
when I was still very young and living at home

It is a shame that all those
years have already come and gone

Because I would love to relive them all over again

But at least I was able to have a  special moment

That allowed me to remember
all the good times back then

Just by driving down

A road called memory lane
