AFRICAN GREY PARROT: SOOTY

~AFRICAN GREY PARROT: SOOTY~

My sweet little baby is
an African Gray with a
temper to keep others
away from him but me.

Hand-reared from day one,
he was a tiny baby when
I helped him hatch out
from one of the three eggs.

My friend's mother was
on her death bed and
the eggs of the Gray parrot
were at risk from the Dad.

My friend Chris had no way
to incubate the eggs and
I was asked to help her
to incubate the three eggs.

Three beautiful babies were
so cuddly tame and sweet.
I was given Sooty as a gift
for saving those grey babies.

I parted with other babies
from my pair of African Gray,
could never part with Sooty,
he is a gift from my friend.
