Poetic-Verses
Much Like A Dream
Much Like A Dream
Much like a dream
Yet, like I'm wide awake
I can feel you so near
As the bed beggins to shake
I reach across the bed
But again you're not there
All I can find around
In that space, is cold still air
Some may think I'm crazy
Over some of these sweet dreams
If they only knew how many times
They have waken me into a scream
Though I don't know your name
I always see you loving face
Smiling right back at me
As you stand in your dress of lace
Someday may we finally meet
For this heart already loves you
So maybe in the next life
I'll finally get to hold you
But, until that time comes
I'll be having these same dreams
Though they wake me in the night
To hold you my dear, will be my sweetest dream
