 She lived and yet not

Dreams rushed out in her state of trance
Dreams intercepted by memories
The rains hissed as she took a chance
Retreating waves of tears to the seas

She saw the pain and yet not
She felt the courage and yet not

So she saved that friend whom she cared to death
And death itself was just a dream
She saved herself as she saved her friend
Life was extended it would seem

She made up her mind and yet not
She told the untold and yet not

Each second was a stretched pause
As she held the hand that never left, no…
She plunged into the past, best times of sorts
This time she wouldn't let it go…

But she woke up…

She lived her dreams … yet not
She still lived… yet not
