We danced
We laughed
weloved
Thinking nothing of the things that stopped us, clogged us,hogged us, blocked us
We swayed to the rhythms of hard beats, shakers, and drums
That felt numb with our skin under marajuana leaves
There's a pretty bird in the trees that sensed needs
Please don't die
Fly as high as possible
unstoppable
My body lusts for the wind underneath your wings
between the strokes,
Like thrown dust being hope to where you're trying to go,
I hope so
Keep the dreams hidden in between theclouds in the sky to stay alive
Working hard as you can when you're tryna beat the man with a 9 to 5 and,
Even though he's got the hands he,
Doesn't hold the plans that could make more understand
You are higher than the man..
Fly high above plane heads
Make em spend a loft of bread so you can keep the people fed,
Or Infested
With marajuana leaves,invested
Pretty bird stay in the trees
Pretty please,
Please don't die
Hustle how you fly,
Stay high to stay alive.
