THE LONELY LITTLE FLOWER
Way out in a field of green
A place he calls his home,
A sweet little flower stands
Feeling nothing, but alone
He sways in the morning breeze
And catches the midday sun,
Surrounded by fluttering butterflies
And creeks that forever run
Grasshoppers skip through the field
Bee's slowly buzz on by,
Birds will whistle a simple tune
As they take to the sky
As the moon makes it's appearance
And the darkness overlaps the light,
The lonely little flower takes comfort
And closes up for the night
