Here's a not so short description of "The Poetry of Rick Weber"..in essence, "It is, what it is"..my reflection of the present moment as it is, at that particular moment in time..I express many deep and heartfelt human emotions..and with that in mind, that is the kind of poetry you will find here..I ask a lot of questions..sometimes, I already know the answer..It's been said, "That a deep man believes, that the evil eye shall wither, the heart's blessings shall heal all wounds, and that love shall overcome all obstacles." I believe that..that was from "Emerson"..I also like the short quote by "Carlyle", it reads.."All Men are my Superior, that I may learn from." I also believe in what Ayn Rand says, about non conformity and rational self-interests..and one shouldn't accept mediocrity as one's standard to live by..but have the instinctual knowledge to know right from wrong, vision to see the truth, courage to stand strong by your convictions and have a strong moral code..to know one's core of being, is that of Joy..these are my feelings, of what I believe to be of good character..I believe mankind is of a heroic nature, at his best..and at his worse, that of just another beast in the field..Welcome, My name is Rick Weber..
