Passion for Poetry
Welcome to Passion and Poetry!!!!!!
I am developing this site to hopefully give my writing a little more exposure than it has been getting; I originally began writing in High School as the result of taking a "Creative Writing" class; I moved from short story's to poetry when I entered the US Army, I found it could be profitable to write love poems for lonely soldier's missing their girls back home,(Added note, none of my poems have ever been signed by any other name then mine; I always added a disclaimer that the poem was specially commissioned by the Person that requested one of my poems; My Poetry is my own property and no one elses.) One of my earliest poems even got my friend an acceptance of his marriage proposal and a "bonus" that was even larger than I originally received for the poem to begin with.
Several of my poems have received notice and publication on Poetry.com; two this year in fact. I decided to locate a new outlet for exposing my poetry to the public.
