Hi I used the German word for dumpling in this piece, because it didn't like the "noodle" word......
In the quaint town of Saltsburg Germany
there lived a king of such renowned infamy.
He starved his people and ate like a pig.
His butt was enormous. His belly was big.
The Noodle King his subjects had dubbed him.
He always had a bowl of noodles filled to the brim.
He would eat all those noodles oh yes every one
then he would yell, "Bring more! Oh no I'm not done."
They had to reinforce his throne several times.
He was guilty of gluttony and many more crimes.
His kingdom fell into disrepair and total disorder
and his enemies waited to invade at the west border.
Yet the Noodle King seemed oblivious to this
he was lost in the wonder of his voracious bliss.
The castle was a shambles, his people were raving
but all the king wanted was to feed his craving.
His counselors they begged and asked him to stop.
They told him one day he would blow up and pop.
Yet the king would not listen he continued to eat.
He got so enormously huge he couldn't see his feet.
One night after he had eaten eight bowls and one more
he fell of his chair and with great force crashed to the floor.
An enormous hole it appeared in his stomach, you see
and he oozed and he leaked till he was totally empty.
They buried the Noodle King in an unmarked grave
and covered that spot with the noodles he did crave.
All the peasants rejoiced their happy hearts did sing
there was not a bit of remorse for the dead Noodle King.
Moral of this story, you see
gluttony is a form of infirmity
when eating just know when to stop
unless you want to bust your gut and pop.
