Are You There, Mr. Gulliver, It's Me, God

I'm a wayfarer, non-descript person,
of no account.
I lost my worth long ago,
and don't know where it went.
Baby child, call me.
I need your loving guidance,
your fabulous inspiration.
Only you can set me free.
By the same token,
the truth will make you free.
You know what to do.
That's why I beg.
Go, Jesus, honey!
Who loves you, doll?
Is it perfume from a dress
that makes me so digress.
I care about my level of self-esteem.
I'm yearning for a better self-concept.
Sweet thing, call me.
I need you.
What would I be without you?
I have very little to count on.
I have love, but I need assistance.
Have you no compassion?
Don't make me wait.
"Division of Social Services,
how may I help you?"
