It's Christmas time in the mountains;
The hills are all covered in white.
There's love down in the valleys;
There's peace on earth tonight.

The streets are filled with laughter.
Children's faces are all aglow.
Bells are ringing with joyful sounds.
There's magic in the air' we know.

Many loved ones are gathering together;
To celebrate Jesus birth.
We've so much to be thankful for;

You can hear those mountain folk sing.
They're playing those guitars and banjos,
They're really pickin' on them strings.

Light's are all aglow up and down the hills,
The doors are all adorned with Holly.
It's hustle and bustle through the snow,
Everyone is all happy and jolly.

Mantles are aligned with colored garland,
Trees all decorated with lights.
Presents are piled high under the trees,
There's so much magic in the air tonight.
