What is Life?
This is a question that deserves deep thought;
Consider from where your answer is brought.
Seek to find your answer from depths of your heart;
Listen to the answers I have gotten; what wisdom does it impart?
What is life?
Life is a bowl of cherries, watch out for those pits;
Life is a battleground, stand strong against the blitz.
Life is a race; train hard, run fast, and never quit;
Life is hard; it chews us up, the residue it does spit.
Life is a blessing from God; I am thankful every day;
Life is a trap; watch out for everything you do and say.
Life is better than the other option; at least I'm still alive;
Life is a massive struggle to make ends meet, to survive.
Life is an opportunity to love others, reaching out to the world;
Life is like a three day drunk, incoherent, dizzy, then you hurl.
Life is a party; live for the moment and have a blast;
Life is a test; we must stand and answer for all our past.
What is life?
Your answer could tell the state of your soul;
It tells you about your values, about your life's goal.
It is not engraved in stone, as it can change without warning;
Ask yourself this question before you get out of bed each morning.
