No Greater Blessing
There are very few people found close to my heart
Save for the ones who have oft played a part.
In showing me reasons for which to believe
That bountiful blessings I too could receive.
But there's no greater blessing, and I never thought
That they could yet love me in spite of my faults.
Yet it thrills me so deeply, and thanks I must give
Just to know that they care gives me motive to live.
Therefore, it is clear that I need them the most
As they are a treasure for which I can boast.
Not taken for granted, but with each day I find
That theirs is a bond not so easily defined.
Yes, for all of those people found close to my heart
I will always be grateful that you each played a part.
