Fear
You said shut down
You just can't take it
walk away before you feel your heart breaking
close out those emotions you feel
turn your world into make-believe so nothing
is for real
make yourself invisible like the wind
because fear is what is driving you again
can't you see no love can ever come in?
when do you stop running, when do you stay?
you tell yourself one day
but what do you tell yourself
when you let true love slip away?
don't let fear run your life
open up discovering everything you have been missing
it is worth everything you fear to try to live in love.
