Far beyond the corners of our mind
Are you who wrote and gave your time
To one unknown, leaving your presence
In words unwrapped, pre Christmas present
Your gift will make for story new
Precious to us, for your words few
Will light a flame for us to seek
Deeper inside, poem to tweak
Maybe this time a write for you
Whose read just one, maybe just two
That touched your soul and left a smile
Maybe holding your hand awhile
This gift we share as you do too
When heart spills all inside of you
To write sharing more than this moment
That stays with one as if you own it
Love you found at someones site
Maybe reborn with what just might
Be the cure, the fix for all
Reader hungry as once before
Sincerely yours, Poetical Me
We humbly thank those we've made friends with here at POETRY POEM.COM and Select Poetry for their selection of " Age of Silver " as Poem of the day 10-29-09. It is only because we are dwarfed by giants here that we are inspired to write one more
