Poetry that thinks out loud
BE NICE PLEASE
They riot to protest for what is right,
But it seems they only want to fight.
To show the feelings they want to express;
They shout and barge and cause distress.
The message they yearn is overlooked;
Because what's seen looks rather crooked.
Irrational people will not be heard;
They will not sound a single word.
If you want to be heard you must be calm
And make sure no one comes to harm.
Especially those only doing their job,
But still they face the wrath of your gob.
For peace to be found it must be obeyed;
Strong in its meaning and never betrayed.
So when it is violence that is seen,
What were the protests supposed to mean?
