JUST A ROSEToday with all the complaints of the world And all that could be wrong I spose regardless of it all and anything at all Today I smelt a rose I was walking past a little old ladies fence And there it simply so beautiful it grew The fragrance reached out and captured me so Like a fragrance Id never known or knew The simple fragrance of a sinle red rose That caught me as I past by And it alone gave me such a Godly gift as it grew there under the bluest ever sky Just a rose I suppose But GOD it saved the day As its fragrance for the smallest time Took all of my woes away Terrence Micghael Sutton copyright 2009 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
