Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
Lackey
The color of sky
Sits nearby garnishing smiles
Pulled with pain
From my face.
I sit shyly and mind my business,
Knowing I offer him
Nothing but wit, and
An occasional grin.
I hate the way he
Makes me tremble and
I hate him more for
Gifting me with a glance or a wave.
I hate to feel important when I'm not.

Sits nearby garnishing smiles
Pulled with pain
From my face.
I sit shyly and mind my business,
Knowing I offer him
Nothing but wit, and
An occasional grin.
I hate the way he
Makes me tremble and
I hate him more for
Gifting me with a glance or a wave.
I hate to feel important when I'm not.
