Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Brown

I fall to fragments,
Brown eyes turning me to liquid
And I hate
The hangover that follows.
I crimson in their company,
I bronze as they pass,
Pretending I'm a sorcerer,
Strong enough to surpass love
Unscathed and unnoticed.
I'll pretend it never hurt,
As I die a little inside.
I'm old enough to know better,
But young enough to continously
Repeat my idiot mistakes.
I've learned nothing after all.
