Broken, But Spoken For
On this day, the eve before
Thanksgiving comes yet past our doors
Are those that need a word to heal
Maybe your time as needs appeal
If just a smile to him or her
The cashier person who you can stir
Feelings good to tell them so
How great GOD is before you go
To thank and give an unknown soul
The time of day in words take hold
To say that love is theirs today
Mending someone broken this day
Though many here may not believe
That GOD can use them He conceived
To change this day, a life or two
Speaking four words, GOD loves you too
Try we do to spread the wealth
Upon all people who like myself
Need to know that He too knows
Broken are souls that Him fore go
If everyone upon Gods Earth
Spoke Gods truth and of ones net worth
Into a soul they'd touch today
Another soul today is saved
Brokenness comes in every form
The rich and poor broken adorns
The life they lead on road they walk
Would need someone like you to talk
Speak to them, as GOD wants too
To change someone, someone like you
So as you sit before the table
Of Thanksgiving know you are able
To serve someone more than a plate
Just food for thought upon this date
