 I who have nothing
I who have nothing in this dam world
Stand before you with a body so weak
My bones are frail from walking this life
Ive got blisters on the soles of my feet

My eyes are tired bloodshot and red
They are blind though they want to see
I who have nothing in this dam world
Yes nothing, except only me.

I have begged, and i have borrowed
Stole from the rich to feed my poor
I who have nothing in this dam world
Have faced many a slamming of the door

Ive faced much jealousy and lies
From my friends and my foe
I who have nothing in this dam world
Some days have no where to go.

Its a matter of fact the way life is
With many of ups and downs
I who have nothing in this dam world
Deal with reality without the clowns.
