 The Halo Effect by wings2fly2heaven 12 2 2009

14 - Drivehome Pictures, Images and Photos

The streetlamp had a halo
On that dreary early morn
A fog was rolling in
As winter was being born

Street corner dark and lonely
As I gazed down from above
Distorted figures walked along
Hand in hand they were in love

I wiped my hand on cold glass
Then peered for better look
Seems their hands passed off
What appeared to be a book

So I opened the window gently
Heard their loving words say
This is our very own story
With a new chapter for today

A strong feeling came over me
I had to fall back on my bed
I closed my eyes and realized
This was a vision in my head

For the beginning's written
Introduction and chapters through
But the best is yet to be scribed
When we make our dreams come true

The streetlamp shines a halo
On this rainy windy night
As I'm feeling you this moment
You're my love, my life. my light
