When someone give you something
Show that you have it in you
Be polite and always say
To them "Thank you"
Always say "Please" when you
Ask for anything you do
Don't be rude and unkind
Watch your tongue and actions too
Be kind and show some respect
For the elderly and your peers too
Don't be so loud and shout
When you want something you see
Say "Excuse me" and greet when you should
Offer a seat to older people and the weaker too
Lend your hand when someone needs it
And help anyone you can when they ask you
We might not be living in Victorian
Times anymore that I can see
This may be the Twenty-first century but
"Courtesy" never goes out of style for me.
