"A CHRISTMAS WISH"Dad said"what do you want santa to bring you Mike". Under the Christmas tree I want a new bike. You'll have to work if that's what you'ld like. So I worked for mom,dad and the lady next door. Made plenty of money doing all those chores. I looked through the paper and found the right store. As I got there I seen a little boy looking and crying. What's wrong little boy if you don't mind me prying. He said "through this store window I do all my wishing. I thought to myself give this little boy all that he wishes for. Just this little thing I'll get my bike and so much more. He bought his dad a coffee mug his mom a flower and his sister a box of smores. As I walked home I knew giving him his Christmas wish was the right thing to do. Now I hope all of your Christmas wishes come true. Teresa Skyles 02/12/09 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
