When leave we do all this behind
The good we lived and bad at times
What will be said if anything
Of you thought of who use to bring

Your smile needed on cloudy days

Or will it be the Scrooge that left
Coal in ones stocking who never wept
A tear for one in great distress
Nor sigh for those no more but less
Will you be counted in not out
As one of those they'll talk about
For years to come by hearts you touched
Who loved to love so very much
Or will it be the heart of stone
That loved to live as Marley moaned
To Scrooge tight fist-ed greedy man
Dead man walking, a soul now damned
In either case while you still live
The choice right now is yours to give
Some thoughts of you some will remember
A grouch or snot, maybe a family member
Although in life some aim to please
While others care less and do not seize
The moment now to share your wealth
To love as CHRIST if nothing else
