If Only People didn't drink and drive, If only they used their head, If only they thought of the consequences, There would be a lot less dead! If only people weren't selfish! If only they had a care! If only they thought of others, The others would still be here. If only people saw sense! If only they'd stay at home! If only they'd got a taxi…! And left the car at home! If only they used their brain! If only drunks had a care, If they only knew the score, The dead would still be here. In memory of a 13 yr old lad, Hit by a drunk in a car! He was on his way home from school. He was killed outright. He never stood a chance. The driver mounted the kerb, Smashed him into the wall, Then drove off! But they got him!
