 Mystery

Our mind seeks out escape from the mundane;
Stimulated by the images of our ancient past.
Those things that modern man cannot explain;
Unearthing as we explore the mystery so vast.

The deeper we dig into the relics of history;
More questions rise up than do our answers.
Filtering facts from fiction, leaving only mystery;
Hearing the ancient music, we become dancers.

Puca Pucara in the Bolivian Andes so high;
A pre-Incan society developed and created.
Looking with awe, we must ask the question why?
The Easter Island's relics are so closely related.

This is just another of history's questions to enjoy;
As mystery brings out my inner inquisitive little boy.
