Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

Tentacles

The raw rape still fresh in my mind,
I wave goodbye to a plague of
Childhood years, entering adulthood
Full of scars and losing blood.
The fever wouldn't rest,
Keeping me up with thoughts
Of slit wrists and overdoses.
Smiles are a thing of the dusty past,
And I move forward, through
The flattery meant to slow me down.
A survivor till I'm dead.
I become elusive and huddle
In the secret space between breath,
Waiting a hundred moons
To shed this harsh mission.
I'm overthrown with daydreams,
Viens split and crying,
I wonder how long before
I become a shadow.
