Coming tomorrow will be a new day full of promise;
The first day of a new year, filled with resolution.
A fresh beginning from a year gone old and stale;
Looking into the future with hope of a solution.
Fresh winds sweep out the clutter of misdirection;
Bringing us hope for a more prosperous year.
Today is the day of introspection, seeking the key;
Bringing that crystal clear picture ever so near.
With all the spirit of joy, we welcome tomorrow here;
Parties celebrate the end and a new beginning.
A toast to you, my friend, from your cup of choice;
I hope that this new year leaves your face grinning.
