My last breath
As each beat of my heart grows weaker
And these eyes are too dry to cry
I swear my love alas, i swear
That i shall love you till i die
Even when i am dead and gone
That special cord will not be broken
And when we meet again my sweet love
Will be the day i am again awoken
I am fading into the darkest night
There is no light to show me the way
Hold me now my dearest love
As my last breath comes on this day
My breath is now shallow
So just stay now beside my side
Be proud that i have always loved you
Until i quietly slipped away and died
Remember when you weep for me
That all you do is weep in vain
My dearest love as i fall to sleep
Remember one day we will meet again.
