I came down from Heaven in Glee
I came down from heaven in glee,
Expectant of wonders to see,
But I found a world of confusion,
Walked down streets of illusion.
My heart was shining with love
When I came down from above.
But I found hatred in many eyes,
I saw blood tainting the skies;
And my soul wept in disbelief
At all the sadness, pain and grief
That haunts the lives of so many,
At the lack of Spiritual Harmony.
This world is such a beautiful place
There is hope in natures' grace-
There is a sky of richest blue,
There are fields of emerald hue.
There are seas of shimmering light
So much that is good and right.
So why does Man live in dark despair
Why does suffering fill the air?
Look within my sister and brother
Don't look to follow another,
But find the beauty that is within
Know that with life you are kin,
One heart beating in all that lives.
So find the mind that forgives
And listen to the message of peace,
Let all your arguments cease,
May the world learn to share its riches
Learn the lessons that love teaches
And live together as one family
Finding joy and a lasting stability.
We are ONE , it true to say
Let us live for a better day!
