Haiti...
When death hits in mass
with it's fierce fuming fist -
some people blame sinners
for the suffering that is...
But look at the places
the people - the plans -
the mixture - the meaning -
the fixtures - the hands...
Sweet gurgling babies
with never a curse -
fall with the drunkards -
the convicts and worse...
Death has no bias -
no pattern - no rule -
it hits without reason
the wise and the fool...
I tremble in terror
at the thought of the end -
turning and burning
unable to mend...
Smiling one moment -
breathing a breath -
then without warning -
twisting in death...
