Deep and dark is the grave of sin's
indecision and doubt that leads
down the dreary road of agonizing
depression. It is a fiery river
of utterly inescapable despair
that leaves the mortal soul weak
and weary turning the heart faint
and hopelessly lying in the fires
of perdition where the salvation
of absolution cannot be found.
