Oh my Precious Father
I come to you on bended knee this morning
Not in request for myself but for that of
a dear friend that is hurting deeply because
one he holds dearly in his heart
is in the last stages of cancer.
Please lay your loving healing hand upon them both
let them know You are there with them
and You will ease their pain.
I pray that you heal his friend from this
horrid desease. She has given so much to others
and still has much to give. I heartfully ask
that you spare her, but if this is not Your plan
(of which we can not question)
I do pray
that You make her journey to You painless
and that you comfort my dear friend in his loss
and help me to be the friend he needs during this.
