Poetic Verses
Resolution
As the sun sets on the year two thousand and nine
The bells of the year two thousand and ten began to chime
To many this will be the time
As making resolution will come to mind
For some this may bring great fear
Because they have touched none of the former year
Other would be depressed and of great trepidation
Because they have decade's amassed untouched resolutions
But that is the past though not accomplished
Be positive and let those negative thought be dissipated
Wipe the slate clean and try again
Resolve to do some that is readily attained
Make that resolution quite realistic
So that achieving that goal would be fantastic
Don't dwell on past failure it is stagnating
Look to the future be adventurous and a chance worth taking
Even if for one moment you did slide
Call on the inner strength which in you willing abide
So on you go, purposefully and with great fortitude
Supported by the creator's love which has no magnitude
