a man who believed in people each and everyone,
a man who knew how to get things done.
a man who look over no one,
who wanted people to run.

to do more than survive,
but to have a life to live.
to be able to learn,
to be able to earn.

to have a each and every day so bright,
so, that their children could grownup right.
he was ahead of his time,
he was one of a kind.

some things he saw that others didn't want to,
but for this cause he stood tall and true.
he didn't get to see the mountain top,
some people got to together to bring his life to an stop.

now, has come the time to give his name praise,
for the truth he has helped to raise.
now, his song we should sing,
about all the good done by Martin Luther king, (Jr)
