 A Mothers Love
Born of womb inside of them
Born to accept and comprehend
One day their child will grow and leave
To save a world evil deceives

They watched and saw the child once known
Before aged eyes like seed they've sown
They cut the apron strings that tie
Their once hellos turned now goodbye

Absence His each day grows fonder
In heart and soul in mind she wonders
Was she mother who gave Him all
Giving her best to take the fall

Destiny was in the making
Bread and wine would be partaking
In room where men would know their father
Taking her son now even farther

A crawl now walk would now become
The end of Him on cross He hung
With feet once soft her lips would press
To tell how much she loved no less

A mothers love cannot be measured
Not by fortunes or sunken treasures
It is unique and is forever
That time can't bend or ever sever
