Analytical thoughts caught on paper,
metaphysical dreams trapped between the sheets;
rhetorical phrases kept folks in mental dazes,
confused by the tone that soothes this savage beast
that writes lines on blank sheets;
released from his cage
only to be locked up for refusing to follow the P.O's rules.
Didn't report in, so you return me to the pen;
labeled a habitual recidivist,
but you don't raise a balled up fist,
instead grabbed the book that was thrown at me by the judge,
so I could learn the hook of the truth,
to overstand how they ended slavery
and reinvented it with privately owned penitentiaries;
educated myself with every book on the libraries shelf;
granted parole;
but now they feel they have your spirit and soul under control,
but what they don't know is that your mind is as potent as c4 detonated to explode;
so I dig deep inside my spine
and come up with plots and plans to expand
