Matured Wisdom of God
We speak of the wisdom,
Among those who are grown;
But consider seldom,
Just what the Lord has shown.
We use wisdom to speak,
As if we are mature;
But for things that we seek,
The mind closes the door.
Wisdom does not belong,
To rulers of this world;
Their power gets too strong,
As invasions are hurled.
For they are here today,
And be gone tomorrow;
As power makes them stray,
Then leaving much sorrow.
Still as a mystery,
The wisdom of the Lord;
And times in history,
We have merely ignored.
The real message it holds,
Hidden from our view;
While the time unfolds,
God sends His love to you.
