Failure
Oh, broken hopes and broken dreams
The paths begun, now, tear filled streams
My charted way's become amiss
to cavernous and dark abyss
to where my future lay unknown
in secret gardens over grown
No longer by my hand to tend,
succumbed to word that did offend
Insensitive, my hopes you dash
You lit the fire and burned to ash
By your folly, my hurt incur
Added, yet, another failure
