Exhort to Holiness
Please do not ignore the facts,
For soon the fall of the ax;
As Christ will come on this earth,
And destroy all of your worth.
Do not let it be ignored,
For just one day with the Lord,
Would be like a thousand years,
In love and peace without fears.
A thousand years like a day,
Not wanting to go away;
Feeling comfort from His arm,
Protecting you from all harm.
The day will come out of sight,
Just like a thief in the night;
From Heaven a roaring sound,
As fire storms all around.
All things seen will be destroyed,
No possibility to avoid;
Exposing all you have done,
When standing before the Son.
So then will be when you learn,
As it will all melt and burn;
If you were sincerely saved,
Or to sin and still enslaved.
