Liz's Poems

Olympic Dream

Dear Mom,
Through all the hard work
And years of dreaming
I finally made it.
My competition was tight.
The routine was hard.
Everyday when i stepped on the mat
I thought of you.
I wanted to make you and my country proud.
The day is finally through
And the competition is over.
I just wanted to tell you
I finally accomplished my dream.
Mom, my biggest fan,
I got the gold medal.
Your loving daughter,
Annie
