A Tragic Story of Two Lovers

As she laid down her head
She held back her tears.

She got a call today
Saying the one she loves just died.

They told her that he drank
And decided to drive.

The police came to see her
And handed her an envelope.

It was from him.
Inside there was a note and a ring.

He told her he loves her
And he was going to ask her to marry him.

She started to cry
And got mad at god.

She yelled, "How could you take him?
How could you leave me here alone?"

She told herself, “It's my fault
Because he was driving to see me.”

She put the ring on
And started to cry harder.

She told the police
To tell his family that she was sorry.

When the police left
She went to the kitchen.

She grabbed the aspirin
And a knife.

She told god "I am sorry"
And she took her life.
